Orders placed before 2 PM EST on weekdays ship the same business day. Transit takes 5–7 business days, so most US orders arrive within 8–10 business days. Standard shipping is $5.99, and orders over $40 ship free.

Not yet — we currently ship within the contiguous United States and Washington, D.C. We can't reach Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or APO/FPO addresses for now.

If move-in is in August, order at least two weeks ahead to be safe. And remember: the letters take longer than the shipping. Most moms finish all sixteen in about a week, two letters an evening — so three weeks out is the comfortable window.

On purpose. The structure, the prompts, and the sealed envelopes are printed. The words are yours — that's the whole point. Nobody ever kept a card because the font was nice.

You never face a blank page. Every letter has a guided prompt that asks you for one specific memory or one honest sentence. Write the way you talk, set a timer for twenty minutes, then seal it. Crossed-out words are fine — they're proof it's really you.

Sixteen sealed letters for real college moments: the first night away, the 8 AM she's about to skip, the first bombed exam, 2 AM, homesickness — and the last one, which stays sealed until graduation day. Plus a recipe page, photo spots, and your handwriting everywhere.

When You Can't Call Mom is the emotional one: sixteen sealed letters she'll open across four years. The 'For When...' College Survival Kit is the funny one: 18 pages that hold gift cards and cash for coffee runs, food emergencies, and dead phone batteries. About one in five parents gets both. Both are A5 — dorm-drawer sized.

30 days from delivery. The book needs to be unwritten, with all letter seals unbroken, in its original packaging (belly band included). Email support@pennedco.com first and we'll send you a return shipping label.
