Orders placed before 2 PM EST on weekdays ship the same business day from our warehouse in Houston, Texas. Most orders arrive 3–5 business days after you order.

Standard shipping is $5.99, and free on orders of $40 or more. Express shipping is $15.99.

Within the contiguous United States and Washington, D.C. We can't reach Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or APO/FPO addresses for now.

Your shipping confirmation email has a tracking link. You can also look it up on our Track your order page.

Order at least two weeks before move-in to be safe. Leave yourself time to write, too: the letters take longer than the shipping.

It's a pre-order. The date it ships by is shown on the product page and again at checkout.

Within 12 hours of purchase, yes. Email support@pennedco.com. Once production begins, we're unable to make changes or cancel.

On purpose. The structure, the prompts, and the sealed envelopes are printed. The words are yours. That's the whole point. Nobody ever kept a card because the font was nice.

You never face a blank page. Every letter has a guided prompt that asks you for one specific memory or one honest sentence. Write the way you talk, set a timer for twenty minutes, then seal it. Crossed-out words are fine. They're proof it's really you.

Sixteen sealed letters for real college moments: the first night away, the first exam, 2 AM, and the last one, which stays sealed until graduation day. Plus a recipe page and your handwriting everywhere. It comes in a daughter edition and a son edition.

Thirty little things to read now, plus ten "Open When" letters to save for later. Fill in the guided letter pages before you give it, then fold and seal each letter for the moment it's meant to be opened. Softcover, glued spine.

When You Can't Call Mom is the emotional one: sixteen sealed letters your child opens across four years. The 'For When...' College Survival Kit is the funny one: 17 pages that hold gift cards and cash for coffee runs, food emergencies, and dead phone batteries. Both are A5, dorm-drawer sized.

Easy 30-day returns, counted from delivery. The book needs to be unwritten, with every letter seal unbroken, in its original packaging (belly band included). Email support@pennedco.com first and we'll send you the return address and a label. Exchanges carry a shipping fee. Full details are in our refund policy.
